About Us

Philip Cutler is a visionary founder, investor, and mission-driven leader dedicated to building and scaling transformative businesses. As the Founder and CEO of Paper, he led the company to a $1.5 billion valuation, providing academic support to millions of students across North America. Under his leadership, Paper secured $400 million in funding and partnered with over 400 school districts, redefining access to educational resources.

Prior to launching Paper, Phil demonstrated his entrepreneurial drive early on, founding Laurus Summer Camp, Montreal’s largest private day camp, while studying at McGill University. He also served as the youngest-ever elected City Councillor in Westmount, Quebec, holding office for eight years before focusing entirely on building game-changing businesses.

Beyond his professional achievements, Phil is deeply involved in the sports community, particularly in flag football. He runs his own team and actively participates in tournaments, fostering competition, teamwork, and community engagement through the sport.
